In the morning before making this recipe for dinner, set out two slices of white, wheat, or sour dough bread on a piece of paper towel to dry. Before beginning the recipe, cut into cubes and soak in about 1/2 cup of milk in the bottom of a large bowl. This is the bowl you'll mix your meatloaf in.

Ingredients
2 lbs ground beef
1 egg
1/3 cup finely chopped onion
1 tsp seasoned salt
1 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup catsup or bbq sauce
Directions
Step One: Mix together well and roughly shape into ball. Use a loaf pan or round pan. Place meat into pan and pat into place, leaving the meat slightly rounded on top.
Step 2: Top with 2/3 cup catsup, 1 tablespoon brown sugar and a dash of mustard. Mix well and spread on top of meatloaf.
Step 3: Bake in 350 degree oven for one hour covered in foil, then remove cover and bake for another half hour. Be careful of hot juice while removing from oven. Skim off juice when removing pan from oven or let harden and spread on leftovers. Experiment with this recipe by trying different sauces, more or less onions, mushrooms, parsley or oregano.
