You are a little acorn growing upon a tree. You are dreaming, tucked safely in your acorn as it grows. You hear the faint rustle of tree leaves and a voice tells "to grow strong little one." you keep dreaming and sometimes you hear the call of a bird, but you keep sleeping and dreaming about growing bigger.
You feel yourself hit the ground. You are a small baby tree nymph nestled safely inside your acorn. Your acorn lays on a bed of soft red and yellow maple leaves, you hear a voice say sleep little one you have a long winter. You feel some of the leaves that were near you being moved on top of you. You snuggle into your acorn and drift off to sleep. As the last of the warm sun fades away.
You awake sticking your little green head out of the soil, a gentle voice says, "hello Oak follow me and come join us." You crawl out of your acorn admiring your tiny sprout its growing while but not even a sapling yet. You follow the sound of the voice, it reminds you of the voice you heard while you were sleeping.
You come to a clearing, the sun is shining down on a huge oak tree. It looks like it has been through many seasons. A much older tree nymph steps out of the old tree. She smiles down at you scooping you into her hands. She says welcome little oak welcome to spring. She gentle carries you back to your little sprout. She says "now little oak it is your job as a tree nymph to help your tree grow to be big and strong. Perhaps, if you work hard your tree will be as big as mine."
You work really hard to make sure that your tiny sprout grows into a healthy sapling. You make sure that your tree gets enough water and sunlight. You bring leaves of water to your tree incase water doesn't make it through the tree top. You move leaves on the forest floor so that your tree can get sun. You protect your tree from danger. None shall step on your tree, and you fight off slugs and other bugs that want to eat your tree. Your sprout grows bigger and now has a brown stem and is growing well. Your elder says that you are doing a very good job taking care of your tree. Your little sprout may now be a big sapling but you still has a long way to go to be a big tree.
