This is a map showing all of the important trips I've taken in the past few years. Each of these has had an impact on me in some way.
All through high school, I was in the marching band. My sophmore year, the band went to Disneyland durring spring break to march in one of the daily parades through the park. We spent an entire week going to different places around Anaheim. This trip tested a friendship and helped my friends and I become a little more responsible. One of my friends left our group to join another without telling anyone and the Band Directorwas not very happy with any of us.

The band made a huge mistake during the parade and screwed up the first turn so badly that everyone in the audience could see. We all were very dissapointed in ourselves.
In the summer before my freshman year of Highschool I went on a school trip to the east coast. It was a very educational trip and we all had a lot of fun. On our last few days we visited New York. We saw the Statue of Liberty, went to the top of the Empire State Building, and saw Phantom of the Opera. Traveling there without my parents for the first time was an experience 14 year-old me needed to have in order to grow up a little.
In the summer before my freshman year of Highschool I went on a school trip to the east coast. It was a very educational trip and we all had a lot of fun. we went to Washington DC near the end of the trip. We saw a lot of government buildings an monuments, rode the metro, and we were almost able to sit in on a meeting of either the House or the Senate. I can't remember which. This part of the trip was, I think, the most educational. We all learned a lot more about government.
