Moda Center

Moda Center, formerly known as the Rose Garden, is home to the Portland Trail Blazers. Construction began in 1993, and the arena opened on October 12, 1995. The arena cost $262 million to build; construction was financed with funds obtained by a variety of sources, including the City of Portland, Paul Allen's personal money, and $155 million in bonds issued by a consortium of mutual funds and insurance companies. These bonds would become the subject of an 2004 bankruptcy in which the Oregon Arena Corporation, the holding company which owned the arena at the time, would forfeit the title to the arena in repaying the bonds per the payment terms. Allen would later repurchase the arena in 2007.

Staples Center

Located in Downtown LA, Staples Center is home to the Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Clippers. Staples Center is also host to over 250 events and nearly 4 million guests each year. It is the only arena in the NBA shared by two teams, as well as one of only two North American professional sports venues to host two teams from the same league. Staples Center plans to host the basketball competitions at the 2028 Summer Olympics

Golden 1 Center

Located in Sacramento, California, Golden 1 Center replaced Sleep Train Arena as the home of the Sacramento Kings. As part of the successful effort to keep the Kings in Sacramento, an ownership group led by Vivek Ranadivé purchased the majority stake in the team with the city agreeing to partner with the Kings to build a new arena by 2016. The Sacramento Kings contributed approximately $284 million and the City of Sacramento contributed approximately $223 million. However, construction costs of the new Golden 1 Center increased to $534.6 million due to a change in the seating configuration that moved hundreds of seats to the lower bowl and closer to the basketball court and additional features.

Oracle Arena

Located in Oakland, California, Oracle Arena is the home of the Golden State Warriors. The arena opened in 1966 and is the oldest arena in the NBA. From its opening until 1996 it was known as the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum Arena. After a major renovation completed in 1997, the arena was renamed The Arena in Oakland until 2005 and Oakland Arena from 2005 to 2006. Oracle Arena seats 19,596 fans for basketball
