I am a video producer, content creator, and project manager all rolled into one. Having recently graduated from Washington State University, Vancouver, I have a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Technology and Culture with minors in English and Fine Arts. Creativity fuels every aspect of my life, and although all things video are my focus, I also enjoy painting, writing, and various forms of digital content creation. Video remains my passion- whether it be producing or editing.
Although my interest in video began with editing, I have been fortunate enough to be able to try on multiple hats in the video production process through scripting, storyboarding, filming, and even audio editing. In the VanParksVision project, I was able to serve as the Creative Director of the video team and oversee the production of four videos for the application.
I love learning new skillsets in the digital world and work in multiple programs.
Thanks to my time in the DTC program at WSUV, I have been able to try my hand at multiple aspects of content creation in the digital world. I am familiar with most Adobe Creative Suite programs and even a few coding languages.
Thanks to the VanParksVision project, I have experience in managing 11 content creators and monitoring the work that they produce.
As the Content Team Lead on VanParksVision, I managed 11 content creators as they produced 2D graphics, 3D models, and videos. This has educated me in the ways of workflow, time management, creative direction, and asset organization through naming conventions. I am also familiar with management systems and communication platforms such as Slack and Basecamp.
This reel is comprised of three video projects that I worked on in the Summer/Fall of 2019. The first clip is part of a 60- Second documentary where I interviewed Mike Sparks. He discusses his various travels across the globe and touches on what he thinks is most important for people considering travelling to new countries. The second clip is a short edit made from what I filmed at a friend's wedding. This clip mainly features footage of the bride getting ready, with clips being synced to match the background music. It ends with a portion of the dress reveal reel. Finally, the third clip is a segment from a student short film that I edited about a homeless vetran.
