NYC hip hop also had gangsta rap musicians such as the Notorious B.I.G. and Lil' Kim.

Brooklyn

bigBrooklyn New York gave birth to some of the most influential people in Hip-Hop. From Notorious B.I.G. to Mos Def brooklyn has been intrumental in keeping Hip-Hop alive. No one can dispute Jay-Z is the undisputed king of Brooklyn!!!

Staten Island

Bronx
