The Burmuda Triangle

(A.k.a Devil's Triangle)

Location: Section of the North Atlantic Ocean - covers 440,000 miles of sea.

On average, 4 aircrafts and 20 yachts go missing every year.

Famous disappearances: Flight 19 - 5 TBM Avenger Torpedo bombers vanished over the Bermuda Triangle on Dec. 5th, 1945. All 14 men disappeared without a trace. And then 13 men vanished that were searching for them on a Matin Mariner flying boat.

Famous disappearances: USS Cyclops a massive carrier ship that supplied fuel to the American fleet in WW1 - 306 people and heavy cargo failed to arrive in Baltimore from Barbados without a trace on March 4th, 1918.

Some Theories: The Paranormal -UFO's are to blame for the disappearances and believed that aliens use the triangle as a portal to travel to and from our planet. The area is a gathering station where they capture people, ships, and planes to study them.

Some Theories: The Lost City of Atlantis -Once resided under the triangle and mystical crystals which powered Atlantis are still residing on the seabed. Transmitting huge waves of energy that destroy vessels and anything that passes by above.

Some Theories: Giant structures under the sea -Paranormal explorers have claimed they found a massive pyramid like structure lurking beneath the ocean in the triangle. This object might have a gravitational pull on crashing ships and planes.

Likely natural causes: Hexagonal Clouds -creating 170 mph air bombs full of wind powerful enough to generate waves more than 45ft in the air.

Likely natural causes: Tropical Cyclones -These powerful storms form tropical waters and have killed thousands of people. The cyclones have been blamed for a number of sinkings.

Likely natural causes: Electronic Fog -This fog sticks to aircrafts or ships the likely cause of spinning compasses leaving pilots and captains lost and to malfunction.

Likely natural causes: Methane Hydrates -Huge underwater gas explosions could explain the disappearance of ships in the triangle because of accidental drillings or landslides under the surface of the earth. This wide bed of gas could be unlocked and reducing the density of the water dramatically making ships suddenly sink to the bottom.

Over the last few centuries, The Bermuda Triangle has thought to have mysterious circumstances surrounding the area. People have gone so far as to speculate that the area has extra-terrestrial activity or that there is some bizarre natural scientific cause for the region to be hazardous. We could simply say that the area is a "Vortex of Doom" for a lot of bad luck.
