[[Start]]This is it. All of your theories were correct and you now stand in front of the cave entrance to the ancient temple. One final test and the artifact you seek will be yours.
[[Enter]] the temple, ready for whatever stands in your way.
[[Go home]]. Meh. It's not the best ancient temple you've seen. You enter the temple. The light from the entrance illuminates entryways to three seperate passageways.
The [[First]] passageway has a dragon above it. Very dangerous.
The [[Second]] Passage way has some sort of ancient formula above it. You are unfamiliar with the language.
The [[Third]] Passage is broken down and crumbled. A faint glow shines through the darkness of the door way.You turn around and trek back through the jungle. In two days you are back at your house. You wonder if you made the right choice.

[[Feed your pet lobster]]You enter the left most passage. On the inside you see a mural of a fortress being attacked by a dragon descending out of a storm cloud. You copy the mural the best you can in your field journal. You [[advance|Firsta]] down the passage way.You enter the middle passage. On the inside you see a mural of a very advanced ancient civilization. You sketch it the best you can in your field journal. You decide to go [[further|2nda]] down the passageway. You enter the right passageway. You look at the walls. There used to be some sort of mural here but the walls have been exstensively damaged. You [[advance|3rda]] down the passage way.The mural ends here. You look around and notice an acient [[passage|p1a]] on the ground. You examine the writing. You roughly translate the passage to "The Path of the Dragon is not for the faint of heart"
(set: $pass1a to 1)
You jot it down in your notes and examine your surroundings.
[[This tunnel|1b]] continues, But there is also a large hole in the [[right wall|2b]]. Which way will you go?The mural continues into the next section of the tunnel. At the end, small human like figures are all pointing at a line of [[text|p2a]] that appears illuminated and suspended in the painted sky.The wall gets more and more destroyed as you move forward. The damage comes to an end. under a pile of rubble you make out some writing. You clear the rocks away and attempt to translate [[the ancient text.|p3a]]The text translates to "The Path of Power is for the strong willed".
(set:$pass3a to 1)
You jot it down in your notes. The passageway continues. You decide to [[advance|3b]], the glow grows with each step becoming more and more orange. The text translates to "The Path of Mechanical Men is for the very wise".
(set: $pass2a to 1)
You jot it down in your journal and examine your surroundings.
The passageway continues [[further|2b]] but there is a [[large hole|1b]] in the left wall. Which way will you go?
(if:(history:)contains "tunnel")[You exit the [[tunnel]] and return to the passageway and feel more equipped to handle this temple. You [[continue|1c]] on.]
(else:)[(if: $pass1a is 1)[You ponder the meaing of the passage for a moment.]
(if:$pass2a is 1)[You wonder the meaning behind the words and why it seemed so revered in the mural][ A wall suddenly descends behind you. Blocking you off from the entry and the hole in the wall. You decide to examine the passage way around you. It continues in the [[regular direction|1c]], but you also notice a hand dug [[tunnel]] on the left wall.]](if:(history:)contains "3b")[the walls in this part of the passageway are blank. you decided to go [[further|2c]] down the passageway]
(else:)
[(if: $pass1a is 1)[You ponder the meaing of the passage for a moment.]
(if:$pass2a is 1)[You wonder the meaning behind the words and why it seemed so revered in the mural]
The walls in this part of the passageway are blank. You do notice, up ahead, another hole in the wall, this side on the right side of the wall. It almost as if the holes were created at the same time, you think to yourself seeing they run in a straight line to one another. Do you?
Go [[further|2c]] down the passage way.
or
Go through [[hole|3b]] in the wall.](if: $pass3a is 1)[ You try to decide the significance of the passage in your head. There is now a very strong orange glow ahead of you. You can [[advance|3c]] further but you notice a [[hole in the left wall|2b]]]
(else:)[There is now a very strong orange glow ahead of you. You [[advance|3c]] further to see what is happening.]You enter the next room. You find that the walls are charred and there are countless skeletons of previous explorers surrounding a large hole in the floor.
Amongst all the rubble and ruin you see another [[passage|p1b]] on the ground.(if:(history:)contains "tunnel")[You see the Roman Centurion again. The rest of his armor is too destroyed to wear. You [[go back
|1b]]]
(else:)[You crouch down and crawl towards the back of the tunnel. To your astonisment you find a the bones of a Roman Centurion. This doesn't seem right to you. How could this person gotten to this part of the world. You look closer. He seemed to have died as a result of some skirmish. You reach and grab the spear near his hand. You also take the helmet from off of his head and place it on your own. You try not to think too much about germs. you [[travel back|1b]] out of the tunnel]
(set: $romanarmor to 1)The walls in this part of the passageway house a set of a series of ancient gears and pipes all connected to some sort of heated powersource. A small wheel is mounted on the wall and looks as if it activates the device. You decide to [[turn the wheel|p2b]].You enter this section of the temple and find another [[Passage|p3b]] on the ground. You supress your fear long enough to translate the message.
It reads "To advance one must embrace the darkness". (set: $pass1b to 1)
You jot it down in your journal.
With no way back wards and no visible exit at the other end of the room, you have no choice but to travel [[down|spooky tunnel]] the hole in the floor.
You have not time to think about the previous passage as you carefully run to escape the pitch black darkness you find yourself in. You see a light up ahead you [[travel| 3d]] towards it.(if:(history:)contains "spooky tunnel")[ You climb out of the hole glad to be out of the dark. You are immediately greeted by a wave of heat. You find that you are standing above a large lava filled crevice.]
(else:)[You enter the room and immediately notice a large hole in the floor. It's pitch black. You feel sorry for anybody who was unfortunate enough to go down there. You have finally found the source of the glow. It's a a large lava river running deep down below in a lagre crevice]
You can see the remains of a bridge across and you think you can make out the signs of another passage across the way. Perhaps there is another way around. The heat grows too much for you and you spot a [[crack|2d]] in the left wall. You exit.
(set:$lavaknowledge to 1)In a few minutes you have translated the passage to " Your power is the enemy of your obstacles". You jot it down in your field notes. (set: $pass3b to 1)
The Bright glow enimates from the [[next passageway| 3d]]You watch as the gears and pipes come to life. Steam escaping from the old machinery as it creaks like a giant tea kettle. You turn suddenly as the wall opposite the machine opens and a giant ancient automaton carrying a large sword steps into the room. It towers over you as it moves towards the center of the room. With astounding precision the automaton uses it's sword to carve a passage into the floor. Not long after it is finished, it quite literally runs out of steam and collapses under it's own weight. You run and look at the passage. It translates to "Intelligence is a key to doors ahead".
(Set: $ancientmachines to 1)
(Set: $pass2b to 1)
You jot it down and travel [[further down|2d]] the passageway.(if:(history:)contains"p2b")[A long hallway. As you travel through the exit to the [[next room|2e]] you pass a heat vent in the wall. Must be the heat source for the steam don't want to go in there.]
(if:(history:)contains" 3d")[Glad to be out of the heat. You move towards the [[next passageway|2e]]. You hope there is a door connected to the other side of the crevice.](if: $lavaknowledge is 1)[You notice a large amount of movable rocks on the right side of the room. It looks as if they cover the entrance to the blocked passage. It looks as if you could [[move them]]]
(else:)[You notice a large amount of movable rocks on the right side of the room. It looks as if you could [[move them]]]
(if: $ancientmachines is 1)[You see more ancient machinery on the back wall. It has similar design to the last one but this time you can tell it is connected to a [[mechanical door|2f]] on the same wall]
(else:)[You notice some form advanced ancient machinery on the far wall. A large mechanical door sits closed. If only you knew how it worked.]
On the left wall is another hole. The same size as before leading into another section of the [[first passageway|1f]].Excited, you quickly move the rocks out of the way. unfortunately you are a little too eager and a large rock falls striking you in the the head.
(If: $romanarmor is 1) [ Phew! Good thing you wore that helmet. The soreness of your head is a reminder to be more cautious, very preferable to a gaping head wound. You clear the rest of the rocks at a slower pace and walk into the [[next room|3f]]]
(else:)[Sadly you have perished. If you only had some sort of helmet.]You search for a mechanism similar to the one on the previous machine. Quickly you find it, another small wheel. Again steam begins to spew out of the pipes and the mechanical door swings open. You step into the next room and find another automaton already inscribing a new passage. Opposed to falling apart, this one moves to the side and stands attention.
You look at the freshly engraved [[passage|p2c]].You walk through the hole in the wall. Down the hallway you can see the passageway opens into a grand final chamber. You examine the room you are in. On the ground you see the [[final passage|p1c]].You have done it. You have reached the [[lava passage]].You translate the last passage.
It reads "The exploration of your fears will grant you the strength you seek".
You jot it down in your jounral and move into what appears to be the [[final chamber]].
(set: $pass3c to 1)You enter the Final Chamber. You are taken back by what you see.
The bones of a huge Dragon, the source of the holes in the wall no doubt.
Far in the back of the cavern you see a flowing river of lava.
In the center of the room you see a pedestal surrounded by two large mechanical statues.
There it is. On top of the pedestal, the artifact, a key to the ancient knowledge of this civilization.
You move towards the [[pedestal]]You translate the final passage. It reads "For strength is fleeting, but wisdom lingers".
You jot it down in your journal and clamly walk into the [[final chamber]].
(set: $pass2c to 1)You quickly translate the passage, eager to move onto the large chamber.
The passage reads "But sometimes the path of least resistance is a wise choice".
With the inscription now in your journal you move onto the [[final chamber]].
(set: $pass1c to 1)You reach the pedestal. The key of knowledge seems to hover as you approach. Suddenly it illuminates and you hear:
(if: $pass1a is 1)[The Path of the Dragon is not for the faint of heart.]
(if: $pass2a is 1)[The Path of Mechanical Men is for the very wise.]
(if: $pass3a is 1)[The Path of Power is for the strong willed.]
(if: $pass1b is 1)[To advance one must embrace the darkness.]
(if: $pass2b is 1)[Intelligence is the key to doors ahead.]
(if: $pass3b is 1)[Your power is the enemy of your obstacles.]
(if: $pass1c is 1)[But sometimes the path of least resistance is a wise choice.]
(if: $pass2c is 1)[For strength is fleeting but wisdom lingers.]
(if: $pass3c is 1)[The exploration of your fears will give you the power that you seek.]
You open up you journal and find that the key has recited the passages you have found back to you, almost as if it has been watching your journey. The illumation of the key fades out. You grab it and examine the unfamiliar symbols on its surface. You have much to learn from this object when you get back home.Look's like you got a letter from your Grandma.
You open it up.
Oh boy, it's a crisp print out of this picture.

"That's really great" you think. You love those big ol' fish. But then you think about that time you had to flush your gold fish in the third grade and you remember the pains of fish ownership.Mmmm... Food that expired months ago. Not a lot of it either. You have one Diet Coke and a Vanilla yogurt.
[[I want that Yogurt]]
[[Close the Fridge]]You are at first surprised to see that your pet lobster is alive. You got him after you rescued him from a diner in Minnesota. You don't know what lobsters eat so you usually just put pieces of lettuce in the tank. You don't have any lettuce today, so you pull up some grass from outside and sprinkle that in there. Lobsters are just dumb long crabs you think to yourself. You go for the yogurt. It tastes bad but you eat it anyway. The resulting hospital bill is $500.You think of all the food you could have bought with the money from that archealogical find. Oh Well!
