Ingredients
- 1stick butter
- 1/2 whole large onion (halved and sliced)
- 8 slices of swiss cheese
- 8 slices of rye bread
- 1: Heat up the medium skillet over medium heat. Use skillet to melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Put onions into skillet and cook slowly. The onions are done when they are soft golden brown (usually 20-25 minutes).
- 2: Using the medium bowl, mix the ground beef, salt and pepper, and worcestershire. Make 4 patties.
- 3: Heat the small skillet to medium heat. Use skillet to melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Place patties into skillet and cook until desired doneness.
- 4: To assemble: slice of rye bread, slice of swiss cheese, patty, slice of swiss cheese, slice of rye bread.
- 5: Heat the small skillet to medium heat. Use skillet to melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Place patties into skillet and cook until desired doneness.
