iBook Project

For this project you will create an iBook that that uses various media and modes to summarize your upcoming readings on technology and the history of computing. The purpose of this project is to allow you to experiment with coordinating different modalities and to explore the affordances and constraints of the e-book medium.

Your iBook will have the following requirements

1. A cover, with a cover image, title and your name.
2. Eight Chapters, 4 of which will summarize readings on the history of technology and 4 covering readings on the societal impacts of technology.
3. Each chapter should include a 200 to 300 page summary of the reading.
4. Each chapter should also include 5 glossary words. I will include a list of words to choose from for each reading.
5. Your iBook should include at least 16 not text items. These can be images, videos, or audio elements. You have 1 of each type of element, and each chapter should have at least 1 element.
6. Your iBook should contain at least 4 hyperlinks to sites on the web.
