Dr. Dene Grigar, Associate Professor and Director of the Creative Media & Digital Culture Program at WSU Vancouver, is a scholar and artist of electronic literature, President of the Electronic Literature Organization, and the recipient of three NEH grants from the Office of Digital Humanities. She manages the grant for the team and oversees the Poetry in the Shops project.
Christopher Luna is the Poet Laureate of Clark County and a practicing artist and teacher. He brings over 20 years of experience to his position and has authored nine books of poetry. He has worked tirelessly in Clark County to teach poetry workshops to the public and to young people. Christopher leads in Poets in the Schools and Poet Laureate Spring Address, as well as speaking at the Public Lectures and organizing the Writing Workshops and Open Mic events.
Dr. Leonard Orr, Professor of English at WSU Vancouver, has produced 13 books of criticism in his 22 years at the university. Most recently, he oversees the English department’s Creative Writing program and has two collections of poetry, Why We Have Evening (Cherry Grove, 2010) and Timing Is Everything (Cherry Grove, 2012). Leonard will manage the Public Lectures at the county libraries for the team.
Dr. Kandy Robertson coordinates the Writing Program at WSU Vancouver, specializing in Rhetoric and Composition, and is the incoming Chair of the university’s Diversity Council. She will manage the Writing Workshops and Open Mics on the WSU Vancouver campus.
