Phrases That Will Help A Tourist Get Around

The final project of Advanced Multimedia Authoring had me brainstorming a lot. There were so many options and possibilities I could not seem to narrow down an idea. Eventually with the help of our professor I combined several ideas into a project that I would have enjoyed interacting with myself. Throughout the course I enjoyed the MapBox project the most, I loved all the interactivity that javascript could create with MapBox to tell a beautiful story. I also wanted to have an educational aspect to my final project. So with these two aspects combined I created a MapBox project with a twist, you don’t just learn about a place but get to learn some about the language as well. To make my final project even more engaging I added a sound element to help my audience hear and practice the shared phrases. Overall, I enjoyed this multi dimensional project as I made the map, then continued to illustrate it in a fun, interactive way.
