Traces in the Dark
You decide to investigate the old tree at 10 PM, just as the note suggested. When you arrive, you find Tom there, looking nervous. He’s holding the rusty key you found earlier. "I guess you caught me," he says with a sigh. "I just wanted to make things more interesting, but when the window broke, I panicked and didn’t know what to do."
