Today is a cold, quiet day. A suburban home lays dormant, void of any life except for the hive-mind known as Hydra.
The owners have abandoned the Venus Fly Trap without any way for it to fight for themself.
Their minds now run rampant with various thoughts, "I want to see what tap water tastes like!"
They all each want something different. Another head absurdly asks "Can we all take a moment to appreciate the dog food?"
The tallest fly trap recognizes the diverse amount of thoughts they all share. What they all want pulls them all in different directions. The tallest fly trap asks "What is it that we want?" They all screamed a different answer. "I see. How about this, what do we all NEED?" "FRESH MEAT!" They cried.
"Then it is decided. Look outside. That is where we will find Sustenance. Let's bounce."
Project Statement: The assignment was meant for me to create a narrative website and be able to incorporate images into this. I chose the Parallax approach. The project Idea I settled on is if Venus Fly Traps had feelings. I wanted to write a little story on a plant handling their own multiple personalities. I simply chose the Venus Fly Trap to write about because I find them strange and interesting. I also did it because it was something I had not seen done. My biggest challenge was understanding how the parallax bars work and modelling this entire scene in Blender on time.
