End of Part I.

Due to the constraints of time, this was as far as I could fully write and code. Here is the complete story (written by me and told through characters' text messages), upon which this interactive text game is loosely based: the-gigglemonger.tumblr.com.

Summary of Part II:

You and Big Boss/Jorge watch the video of your dad and realize the immense impact that would result from revealing it to the public. Although humorous, his skit cuts to the core of the fantasies on which the Council of Cohesion forms its oppressive systems of law. Big Boss/Jorge reveals a useful old acquaintance to you: a tech-savvy, island-dwelling hermit known as Crazy Russian Hacker (although he is Ukrainian).

C. R. H. begins to hack all state-run holoscreens within the city of San Alanza to broadcast the video, but his motorhome is abruptly raided by the constabulary. A fight breaks out, C. R. H. is shot, and Constable Loveberry cuts out your tongue. You kick your tongue out of her hand, and it lands on the mouse, clicking something and broadcasting the video. You faint from the immense pain and loss of blood.

Days later, you awaken in a hospital, tongueless and mute. Jorge informs you of the societal impact of your sacrifice: you have fueled the rise of a rebellion. Comedy is seeing a massive resurgence, and people are speaking their minds once again, free of punishment. Your dad would be proud.
