After Nintendo decided that the Japan verison of Super Mario Bros 2 (1988) was too difficult for American gamers, they decided to rebrand. This caused graphics to lose authenticity.
Regarded as one of the best video games of all time, Super Mario Bros 3 gave Mario new super powers and costumes.
New Super Mario Bros came out on Nintendo consels such as the Nintendo DS and Wii from 2006-2009. Graphics were finalized with a clean and sleek look.
