      Description

"Like many great works of literature, Alfred Lord Tennyson's 'In Memoriam' is densely allusive and referential, a sort of hypertext in the making; but since 'In Memoriam' was composed in discrete parts meant to be read reflectively and in juxtaposition, this work lends itself particularly well to hypertextual treatment. Landow and Lanestedt's work provides students and scholars with a remarkable perspective on this monument of elegiac verse."--Eastgate Systems, Inc.
