    Description

Based on the ancient oriental game of Mahjongg, Shanghai II Dragon's Eye gives you a wide variety of layouts, all based on Chinese astrology, in addition to the basic Shanghai layout. The object of the game is to remove similar tiles, two at a time, from a layout until all of them are gone. Only tiles that have at least one side edge free (as opposed to top or bottom edges) are eligible to be removed. Tiles are stacked both deep and wide, and if all the tiles left do not match, the game is over and you have failed. But, in addition to basic Mahjongg, there is a competitive game, called The Dragon's Eye. One player, the Dragon Master, is trying to build up the layout. The other, the Dragon Slayer, is trying to tear it down. You can play both of these games in either single or multiplayer mode. For Dragon's Eye, the opponent can be the computer or another player. Traditional Mahjongg can only be played against another human. Both games offer the added difficulty of a time limit on moves.
