To Hell

Hell is where souls of sinners and the damned are sent after death. It is ruled by Lucifer, and also suffers from Overpopulation.

Due to the overpopulation, Exterminators are sent down from Heaven to attempt to levitate the problem through an yearly mass-genocide of the inhabitants of Hell.

Meet

Charlie Magne

Charlie is the daughter of Lucifer, and the Princess of Hell.

In the aftermath of the annual Extermination, she comes up with a seemingly impossible plan and goal to rehabilitate demons to peacefully reduce overpopulation in her kingdom.

She opens a hotel in hopes that patients will be "checking out" into Heaven.

666 News

With the guidance and support of her girlfriend, Vaggie, Charile plans an interview for the 666 News to announce and promote her project.

In the interview with Katie killjoy, reception to the plan to rehabilitate demons was met with stares and small coughs. So Charlie attempts a different approach to convey the idea to everyone, to Vaggie's dismay.

Charlie is met with laughter and mockery.



Despite her informing everyone about their first residence, a demon called Angel Dust, has shown progress in rehabilitation, the interview is interrupted by Breaking News of a turf war breaking out that involved Angel Dust. Contradicting Charlie's claims and making her look like a fool on TV

Vaggie

Charlie's manager and girlfriend, she is a bit of a control freak at times. Despite her fiery temper, she aims to make Charlie's dreams a reality.

Angel Dust

A a troublemaker and massive flirt, who is determined to keep his promises.

Back at the Hotel, Charlie debates how to proceed. Starting to believe her father was right about her being a failure, when a knock at the door occurs.

Alastor

The Radio Demon

Alastor is the infamous and powerful entity in Hell. When he arrived in Hell, he possessed such raw power which was never before seen in a human soul and trampled powerful demons who had been in charge for centuries. He broadcast this carnage on the radio for everyone to hear, and thus earned the nickname the "Radio Demon".

The infamous "Radio Demon" shows up at the Hotel, offering his aid to Charlie and her friends.

With a spark of hope, Charlie thinks she found another demon that believes in her dream, but Alastor corrects her, stating he only wants to help out for his own entertainment and to see demons try and fail to become better people.

Vaggie advises against trusting Alastor, which Charlie agrees that they can't make a deal with him, however she can't turn him away.

Charlie, despite what most of Hell thinks, believes that redemption is possible for all demons and dreams of a better kingdom, including the Radio Demon.


After careful negotiations, she gains Alastor's aid in running the hotel, along with two of his "friends": Husk and Niffty

Niffty

Niffty is a energetic gal, who serves as the cleaner and cook for the Happy Hotel.

Husk

Husk is a grumpy, drunk, gambler. He's the front desk clerk at the Happy Hotel.

However, the introductions are cut short when the Demon that Angel Dust fought during the turf War earlier showed up at the hotel and tried to kill everyone.

Unfortunately for the snake demon and his Minions, Alastor was there to make quick work of the intruder.

With the threat removed, Alastor cheerfully heads back into the hotel to get something to eat, the others all following in toe.

With the stage set, and the Hotel staff assembled, what lies in store for Charlie and the Hazbin Hotel?
