So small that it is odd that the settlement is even on the holo-net to begin with. Little is known about the inhabitants of the village, which makes you feel uneasy. Regardless, it could be a good place to get some supplies. Maybe they even have a radio you could use?
[[Go Back|Introduction, Map #1]]To the northeast is a sprawling castle owned by a wealthy count. He has chosen to remain neutral in the war. Given your circumstances, you don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing. He may offer you a place to stay and a flight home, so it might be worth the hike to his estate.

<audio src="Audio/swamp-ambiance-1.mp3" autoplay loop preload></audio>You arrive at a crossroad, with three different paths branching off from your current location.
To your left, the boardwalk slopes downwards, and leaves to a less densly-packed part of the village. There is one building in particular at the end of the boardwalk which is much larger then the surrounding structures. It is decorated with colorful flags and features a pointy roof that stretches high into the sky.
To your right, the boardwalk leads to the upper parts of the village. The buildings are built higher above the marshlands, and look almost identical to the ones next to you. However, by straining your ears you can make out the faint muffle of animal noises.
Directly in front of you, the boardwalk leads to the center of the village. From your current spot, you can see what looks like an open-area surrounding a large black object in the center. It's hard to make out what exactly it is from your current spot.
Which part of the village will you explore first?
