Requirements for Minor

Requirements for the Digital Technology and Culture Minor

A student may certify with a DTC minor after the completion of 60 semester hours.

For the DTC minor, a minimum of 18 semester hours of course work. The following three courses (9 credits) are required for ALL minors:

• DTC 355 Multimedia Authoring
• DTC 375 Language, Text, and Technology
• FA 332 Introduction to Digital Media I or FA 333 Introduction to Digital Media II

Students also choose three courses (9 credits) from the following:

• DTC 335 Digital Animation
• DTC 336 Composition and Design
• DTC 354 Digital Storytelling
• DTC 356 Electronic Research and the Rhetoric of Information
• FA 331 Art, Science, and Technology
• FA 332 Introduction to Digital Media I
• FA 333 Introduction to Digital Media II
• FA 363 Special Topics
• MIS 250 Introduction to Information Systems
