Meet the Band
Jazzbeak "JB" Talonson
Leader and Saxophonist. An elegant crane person known for his smooth, improvisational style. JB grew up on the bayous, listening to the old records of jazz legends. Inspired by their mastery, he left his flock to pursue his passion in the city's jazz clubs.
Fitzgerald "Fitz" Peckerton
Pianist. A dapper peacock person with a style that fuses Thelonious Monk and Bill Evans. Born into a family of classical musicians, Fitz was a prodigy. He discovered jazz in his teens and never looked back, adding a touch of classical technique to his jazz performances.
Bea "Beats" Quillmore
Drummer. A robust owl person whose playing is dynamic and complex. Beats was a night owl, literally and figuratively, who fell in love with the jazz scene's vibrancy and community. She honed her skills in late-night jam sessions, eventually becoming known for her exceptional talent.
Charlie "Chirp" Featherton
Bassist. A tall, slender flamingo person with a strong, melodic foundation. Chirp discovered his love for jazz in the bustling markets of his coastal hometown, where musicians from around the world gathered. He's traveled far, bringing a world music influence to his jazz.
Lena "Lark" Skyward
Vocalist. A small but mighty canary person with a voice that can soar through octaves. Lark grew up singing in the choir but was always drawn to the expressive freedom of jazz. She left her small town to make it in the city, where she met JB and joined The Feathered Bebops.
