Viata

Death, Forge

Within a deep, twisting and rooting lair, thousands of beasts and monsters rest before they leave for the material plane. And within the final level of this dungeon, Viata labors away with needle and knife. Cutting material from flesh to sew together, creating a monstrosity. When finished, she puts her hand to the amalgam's chest, giving a singular magic pulse to give it both life and hatred.

When the world was new, and it was only Andraea attempting to create beings for the material plane, Viata viewed this not only as a challenge but as a threat. To combat this, she created who own beings in her image- monsters, aberrations, dragons- beings meant to kill humans. And they did- these beasts destroyed everything they came across, leaving only bones and blood in a path behind them in an event now known as the First Burning. This is when Corvarra came into the picture- Sena’s hero and Andraea’s knight. Corvarra was able to not only fend off the beasts, but keep them at bay. That was until the Second Burning. With Corvarra weak and fragile, Viata’s army has slowly been growing.

Viata is a god very little people would choose to be the one they pray to. It would get many heads turning. While some malevolent gods you can at least pray for mercy, Viata is not the same. Her purpose is solely to create monsters, and you would only pray to Viata if you happen to work with these monsters in some sort of capacity. Regardless, prayer to Viata is typically done through a small blood offering. Her symbol is a large needle and knife.
