The T.A.R.E.S. Test

The TARES test is an ethical advertising tool which determines if the ad should be broadcast. It asks; Is it:

  1. Truthful to it's audience
  2. Authentic in representations
  3. Respectful in it's persuation
  4. Equitable to all recipients
  5. Socially responsible?

This test helps avoid PR disasters and keeps advertisers from deceiving their audience.
