Napoleon Cremes

A delicious treat -- no oven needed!

And what's even better is that this recipe does NOT require any time inside the oven! Meaning less risk of burning yourself and more opportunities to share this dessert item with friends and family!

Serves: 4 Dozen

Refrigration Time: 1 & 1/2 to 2 Hours

Tools Needed:

Mixing bowl
1 9-inch square baking tin
Stirring utensil(spoon preferred)
Butter knife

Base Ingredients:

2 cups finely crushed graham cracker crumbs
1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup baking cocoa
1/2 cup & 2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Filling Ingredients:

1/2 cup butter, softened
2 cups confectioners' sugar
1 package (roughly 3.4 ounces) of instant pistachio or lemon pudding mix (Your pick!)
3 tablespoons whole milk

Topping Ingredients:

1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
3 tablespoons butter

Directions

Base:

Add melted butter and vanilla to the bottom of a clean mixing bowl.
Combine the graham cracker crumbs, coconut, sugar and cocoa into the bowl.
Once properly stirred, press onto the bottom of the baking dish.
Refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Filling:

Beat the softened butter until it's smooth.
Add confectioners' sugar, pudding mix and milk.
Beat the mix until nice and fluffy.
Spread the filling over the settled crust.
Refrigerate until firm. Should take roughly 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

Topping:

Microwave the chocolate chips and butter on high.
Stir the mix every 30 seconds until it's melted and smooth.
Let the mix cool.
Spread over the pudding layer.
Refrigerate until everything is set.
Cut the finished cremes into bars.
