Columbia, Missouri

My parents arrived on the second day of summer break. Two months ago during our facetime, I told them I will transfer to another college next semester and it would be a great opportunity for us to take a road trip from Missouri to Washington state.
Omaha, Nebraska

It was burning hot when we stepped out of the car in Omaha, the city was known for Warren Buffet. Omaha zoo is another visiting place in here. It was a must-go place on Google. I felt my parents barely had a chance to go to the zoo, so I bought a family ticket. We had a lot of fun.
Kennebec, South Dakota

Kennebec is really a small town right next to the Highway. We arrived here before the sunset. Sunshine was burning the clouds, a boundless greenspace under the closed the sky. Every scenery was just a window away. Who else doesn’t want to live a place that a true elsewhere?
Yellow Stone National Park

We barely step out of the car while visiting the Yellow Stone Park. The beauty of a road trip is that nobody can walk away during the argument. There were tons of questions that I have between me and my parents. Both of us got the straight answers from each other. After that, I felt more stressful than expected content.
Missoula, Montana

The last stop for entering the Washington State. Nothing new here. The name of the city reminds me Missouri cause they are relatively similar word. Recalling the memory, we have been diven 2000 miles so far. It surprised me that this journey breaks our time record of staying as family.
Spokane, Washington

A homeless reach out to us for asking money. The homeless said, all he wants to do is survive and he won't care the laws if he can't survive. It sounds a threaten to me, my parents are kind of nervous. It is the first time for them to experience North West. Instead of giving out money, I give him a bottle of water and a bowl of instant noodles. We hug and pray. Hope this poor guy won't lost his faith.
Vancouver, Washington

We are finally here. The city with no income tax and just 10 miles away from oregon state where don't have sale tax. It sounds like my money will get stretched but actually not. Renting and gas price are doubling than the price in Missouri. Vancouver is not as busy as Portland but it is still better than a college town where nobody left in holidays. Hope I do well in here.
