Nutritional Information

There are many different nutritional values depending on the combinations of sizes as well as toppings that you may add to a blast. Information for a medium, oreo blast taken from FastFoodNutrition.org is as follows: "There are 860 calories in a Medium Oreo Sonic Blast from Sonic. Most of those calories come from fat (46%) and carbohydrates (48%)." - fastfoodnutrition.org.

Steps to Create

  1. Select your ice cream cup, and fill it about halfway with hard ice cream.
  2. Use the candy spoons to fill your cup with your desired candy toppings. Small and Mini cups get 2 scoops, Medium's get 3 scoops, and Large's get 5 scoops.
  3. Blend the toppings into the ice cream by using your blending utensil. Employees using the Sonic Ice Cream Machine's mixer will be able to use the Mixer's On/Off Switch, then manuvering the mixing blade down into their ice cream cup, blending everything together for about 10 seconds.
  4. Add more hard ice cream until the cup is filled to its top, then proceed to further mix your blast until it is all blended thuroughly and the cup is filled. If you are adding other toppings such as Hot Fudge, be sure to do so now.
  5. Place a lid on the blast if applicable, and then give two more candy scoops of each candy topping on the very top of the blast.
  6. Use your napkins to make sure the cup is all dry on the outside, and you're ready to serve!
