Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 sticks margarine
- 1 cup water
- 3 TBSP salt
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp vanilla
Instructions:
- Step 1: Preheat the oven to 370°.
- Step 2: Place sugar, flour and salt in a deep bowl, place to the side.
- Step 3: In a small pot, melt together margarine, water and cocoa on a low heat.
- Step 4: Stirr in flour mixture into the melted cocoa, and margarine.
- Step 5: While mixing well, stirr in buttermilk, eggs, vanilla and baking soda.
- Step 6: Pour batter into a flat pan.
- Step 7: Cook for 18 minutes at 375°.
