The Seattle Mariners and the fan base behind them are ecstatic about the hot streak they have been on. Not even a month ago, the Seattle Mariners were sitting close to being last in the AL West not knowing if they would ever get a shot at making it to the post season. Throughout this past month and a half, they have been in an exciting fight to the top, a fight that no one was expecting to happen. The many events leading up to this achievement have shown the world that the Seattle Mariners have what it takes to make it to the World Series. To list these events out, it starts with the passing of the Blue Jays in wins to replace them in the third place slot taking the AL Wildcard from them. Then there was the sweeping of the Houston Astros in the 3 game series to pass them for second place. The next was the sweep of the Kansas City Royals in their 3 game series paired with the Texas Rangers loss to the Minnesota Twins to make the Mariners 1 win ahead of the Rangers to surpass them for first place. These team achievements do not even scratch the surface for individual player achievements that have made these successes happen.
