Camelid Facts
- Llamas and Alpacas spit when they're upset and that "spit" is actually vomit as it comes from their stomachs which have four chambers.
- Alpacas have fiber, not wool. Their fiber is both flame and water resistant.
- Guanacos and Vicuñas are wild camelids that look, come from, and live similarly to their domestic counterparts, llamas and alpacas.
- Camels have great memories and can hold grudges. Sometimes they will retaliate against someone for offending/harming them. This is called camel vengeance.
