Peonies
Nowadays, peonies are around the world and are usually asked for in late spring. Peony flowers are able to bloom three times their original size. Hydrangea originally came from Asia, and some are natives in Americas. There are about 75 different species of hydrangeas, some of which are usually used for landscaping and gardening. The name hydrangea came from the Ancient Greek words for “water vessel, hydor and angos”. Hydrangeas love water. They also have an alternative name, “hortensia”. Just like the other flowers, they also have many other colors with different meanings. Even in different cultures, they mean differently. For example, in Japan they are more associated with apologies. While in Victorians they are more about negative or maybe an insult. Not anymore, nowadays. Another fun fact, is that hydrangeas can last for about 10 days in a vase!

They were to be believed to have health benefits, which include inflammation and promoting skin health. In Asia, they often appear in gardens, ponds, and other water features. These flowers are native to Asia, mostly around India and China. The most common colors for them are pink and white. There appears to be other popular colors such as blue and red. In history, lotus was used as pain reliever and for alleviating muscle spasms. These flowers can reach up to twenty inches above water.
