Camp Hope provides outdoor camp experiences for underserved at-risk youth by providing a safe environment for youth of all backgrounds to build lasting relationships with other kids and adult mentors. Camp Hope was established to help curb the rise in teen suicides, substance abuse, mental health issues and to improve low academic performance.
Battle Ground Summer Playground Program
This nine week free summer program serves four local neighborhood parks in Battle Ground and brings fun, recreation, and organized play to kids during the summer break. Each week has a themed activity and a take-home art project.
Teen Late Night
Held every Friday night during the school year at both Marshall Center and Firstenberg, Teen Late Night provides a safe space for teens to hang out with friends. Basketball, ping pong, and swimming along with music, board games, and other activities allow teens to meet up and choose activities that they enjoy. There is no cost to attend!
Ellen Davis Trail
Located in the Minnehaha neighborhood with the trailhead at Leverich Park, this local trail is mostly flat with some steep switchbacks and is open to both bikers and hikers. Constructed and maintained by volunteers, this trail helps to connect urban and rural trail systems.
Ridgefield Skate Park
Located at the corner of Simons and 3rd, Ridgefield’s Skate Park includes picnic tables, a gazebo, basketball, in-line skating, and BMX biking in addition to multiple features to challenge skateboarders. You will find teens and kids enjoying the park on a nice sunny day.
This 40-acre park features a disc golf course, a children's play area, horseshoe pit, baseball, softball, and soccer fields as well as an area for volleyball.
Whipple Creek Park
Located near the Clark County Fairgrounds, this park provides 4.3 miles of trails for hikers, bikers, and horseback riders. Volunteers have donated more than 8,500 hours to rebuild trails, improve drainage, and spread gravel across the park's main trails, making them accessible year-round.
Located in the Osprey Pointe neighborhood, this park provides play equipment that encourages physical fitness that is easily accessible for the children in the area.
Vancouver Lake Park
Vancouver Lake Park is a 190-acre park that stretches for 2.5 miles along the eastern shore of the lake. This park features picnic shelters, sand volleyball courts, a children's playground, and water sports such as beginning windsurfing, kayaking and canoeing. There are many other amenities that make this park a well-loved and well-used park in Clark County. Be sure to look out for the local wildlife and migratory waterfowl that frequent the area.
Ike Memorial Dog Park
Ike Memorial Dog Park is one of four designated parks in Clark County to allow dogs to roam off-leash in a protected setting. A 3/4 mile walking trail provides space for pets and their humans to exercise and explore.
Forest Home Park
With basketball courts, children's play equipment, paved paths, and picnic tables, families in Camas have a great place to get outdoors - and yes, dogs are welcome!
Located close to downtown Camas, this 7.4-acre park has plenty of activities to keep kids and families unplugging, playing, and exploring!
Yacolt Recreational Park
Located at 26612 NE Hoag St, the park features a Disc Golf Course, walking paths, an MLS size Soccer Field, BMX bicycle tracks and a picnic area.
Yacolt Town Park
Yacolt Town Park offers covered picnic areas that are available for reservations. Other features include children's recreational equipment, a skate park and a splash park (seasonally), and tennis courts. 406 Jones Street
This farm themed playground is one of only two like it in the State of Washington. The play area provides a creative play experience that encourages imagination while developing strength, balance, and coordination.
Located on the popular Heritage Trail, the Washougal Overlook provides visual access to the beautiful Washougal River and three connected ponds. With paved access to an observation terrace, the overlook lies in the center of the Camas Washougal Urban Area and provides a place for wildlife viewing, picnicing and relaxing.
Oak Tree Park
Located at 350 W "Y" Street in Washougal, Oak Tree Park provides a scenic public space overlooking the Columbia River, the hills of Oregon, and the west end of the Columbia River Gorge.
Waterfront Park Natural Play Area
The Nature Play Area showcases a giant Sasquatch named Eegah pulling Erric the Erratic via a climbing rope. The area is a natural hands-on play environment that includes an educational component to provide information about the Missoula Floods as well as information about local animal tracks to look out for.
Washougal's Hathaway Park is home to six pickleball courts. Combining elements of tennis, badmitton and ping pong, it is an easy game for beginners to learn, but can be fast paced for more experienced users.
This bike and pump track is used by beginners and more experienced riders alike. The pump track is an excellent introduction to bike riding and future mountain biking. The jump track is for more advanced riders as they catch a little air while being propelled through the course.
