Erin Beck was named Corporate Communications Manager at Nautilus, Inc. in March, 2015. In her current role she oversees corporate and internal communications, and corporate social responsibility, for more than 500 domestic and global employees. Erin also supports public relations efforts for the company and its portfolio of fitness brands, including media relations, social media influencer programs, events, campaigns and investor relations communication. Prior to joining Nautilus, Inc., Erin was a Communications Manager for NIKE where she worked within Global Sourcing and Manufacturing to lead stakeholder communications around the NIKE Costing Framework, a program that revolutionized footwear product costing among NIKE’s footwear manufacturing partners. Prior to NIKE, Erin served at Marketing and Public Relations Manager for the Humane Society for Southwest Washington, Senior Account Executive for Harvest PR + Marketing, now FLM Harvest, and Community Relations Coordinator for Goodwill of the Olympics & Rainier Region in Tacoma, WA. Erin earned a Bachelor of Journalism from Sam Houston State University’s Dan Rather School of Communication, and was the 2019 recipient of the Parks Foundation’s Florence B. Wager V-Formation Flyer Award. Erin lives in Washougal, WA, and she and her husband have four children, two cats, and a love for wine, craft beer, cooking, travel and home improvement.
I volunteer with the Parks Foundation of Clark County because I can’t imagine a community without dynamic parks that offer free outside space for all individuals and families. Parks and trails bring communities together like nothing else, because you don’t have to be at any certain advantage, or age, or fitness level, or economic level to access them. Parks encourage family time, community togetherness and exposure to the outdoors, all values that are personally important to me. I believe whole-heartedly in the mission of the Parks Foundation and have been honored to serve the organization.
1.Round Lake Park, because my husband proposed to me on a trail hike there on a cold December morning.
2.Everybody Plays activity scholarship program, because inclusivity across economic levels is very close to my heart.
3.Burnt Bridge Creek Greenway Trail, because it’s the first place I explored when I got my first mountain bike.
