Every year during the week leading up to the last Saturday in June, the Rotary Club of Greater Clark County hosts a Rummage Sale at Evergreen High School. Items that you wish to donate should be taken to Evergreen High School during the specified dropoff dates and times. Before handing off any items you wish to donate, an inspector will check to see if there are any items which cannot be accepted, or which require a fee to be paid before dropping off. Once an item is donated, it is inspected, sorted into a department, placed on display, and priced before being sold. Items which are bought during the sale are put held in the Treasure Check while you shop, and can be picked up when you leave.


Evergreen High School in Vancouver, Washington has generously donated their premises for this once a year event.

What to Expect When Donating

When dropping off all of your items, you will first be greeted by members of the Receiving Committee, who will inform you of which items cannot be accepted and those which require a disposal fee, before accepting any fees and handing you a Tax Receipt form (your contributions, which are tax deductible, when sold, generate the revenue used by the Club to support a wide variety of local community, and international humanitarian projects and other worthy causes) before directing you to the offloading site. Once at the offloading site, it is recommended that you exit your vehicle and help the workers by informing them of which items are being donated, and of any special care instructions for any of the items. After offloading all your donations, please exit the school campus.

At the Sale

Some items will be selected to be raffled off on Preview Night. The raffle will be restricted to the first 5000 tickets, sold at $1 per ticket. Check back on this page often or follow our Facebook page for the most up to date information.

The Rotary Club strives to make the Auction & Rummage Sale as “green” as possible.  This includes, among other things, minimizing and properly handling food service wastes and using eco-friendly materials.  We need your help to make sure the compostable plates and bowls, stainless steel flatware, and food wastes are placed in the appropriate, well-marked containers in the Commons/Cafeteria Area.
