What is Pressure?

Pressure is an online horror game released in July of 2023. It can be played on your own or with groups of up to 50 people. The premise of the game is as follows; You play as a prisoner who is currently serving time. The player and their fellow inmates are approached by three men from the Urbanshade corporation. The men are looking for volunteers to retrieve a valuable asset from an Urbanshade facility that was compromised in a recent security breach. They warn the prisoners that this task is highly dangerous, but whoever successfully retrieves the asset will be pardoned and greatly compensated for their efforts.

The gameplay consists of going through a series of procedurally generated rooms that make up this Urbanshade facility, called the Hadal Blacksite. As the player(s) traverse these rooms they are met with various dangers that they must avoid, and tasks they must complete to proceed. The further into the facility they get, the more difficult these encounters become.

In Game Items

The resource they find most often is research, loose files that were left behind during the facilities evacuation. The other resource that can be found is items. and while they’re much more rare than research, the research you collect can be traded in the shop for these items.
