- Thai Jasmine Rice
- Organic Red Beans
- Jalapeno Sesame Salsa
- Orginal Yumm! Sauce
- Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- Diced Tomatoes
- Fresh Avocado Slices
- Sour Cream
- Black Olives
- Cilantro
- (Optional) Tofu
Materials Needed
- 1 Bowl
- 1 Sharp Knife
- 1 Cutting Board
- 1 Rice Cooker
- 1 Stove-top Pot
Preparation Instructions
- Place rice in a rice cooker and set to cook. This should take about 40 minutes.
- While the rice is cooking, place beans in a stove-top pot. Turn the stove to a medium level of heat and cook beans. This should take about 45 minutes.
- Begin food prep by slicing the tomatoes into small pieces.
- Slice avocado into small pieces.
- Slice olives in half.
- When the rice is finished being cooked, line the bottom of the bowl with rice.
- Place a layer of original yumm! sauce on top of the rice.
- Place a layer of beans on top of the yumm! sauce.
- On one half of the bowl, place a layer of shredded chesse on top of the beans.
- On the other half of the bowl, place a layer of jalapeno sesame salsa.
- In one quadrant, place the shredded tomatoes.
- In another quadrant, place the sliced avocado
- In the third quadrant, place the olives.
- In the fourth quadrant, place the sour cream.
- Sprinkle a little bit of cilantro on top.
- After completing all of these steps, you have a Hot and Jazzy Rice bowl.
