Home page of The NEXT

The NEXT:

A combination museum, library, and preservation space containing 30 collections and over 3000 works of born digital literature owned or managed by the Electronic Literature Organization, an international arts organization.

  • A 39 member team developed the website based on a prototype created in the fall of 2020.

  • I served on the Web Development and Database team which produced 3300 exhibition spaces that would house every work in The NEXT.

  • We developed front end design to match the prototype using HTML5, SASS, CSS3, and Bootstrap.

  • I worked with the team to create the database from Excel spreadsheets, cleaning data, and adding data to the project database at phpMyAdmin.

  • I assisted creating PHP pages from HTML pages.

  • I created a data visualization for The Marjorie Luesebrink Collection using D3.js.
