Chinese Wisteria
Wisteria is a genus of flowering plants in the legume family,
Fabaceae (Leguminosae). The two most common species are
Japanese Wisteria (W. floribunda) and Chinese Wisteria (W. sinensis).

Description

Wisterias climb by twining their stems around any available
support. When viewed from above, Japanese Wisteria twines
clockwise, while Chinese Wisteria twines counterclockwise.
This is the main way to identify one species from the other.
