Monkey D. Luffy
Captain of the Straw Hat Pirates, Straw Hat Luffy. The main character of the series, One Piece. He was born in Foosha Village on Dawn Island located in the East Blue sea, current age 19. Luffy is a part of the twelve pirates who are known as the "Worst Generation". The World Government considers him dangerous with all of the conflicts he committed against them. His dream and goal is to become the King of the Pirates, the Pirate King and to find the One Piece left by former Pirate King Gol D. Roger.
Luffy accidentally ate the Gomu Gomu devil fruit which gave his body the properties of rubber, turning him into a Rubber Human. The mysterious Devil Fruits gives eaters superhuman powers but permanently loses their ability to swim. To take advantage of his devil fruit abilities, Luffy created more fighting techniques called "Gears".
Roronoa Zoro
Known as Pirate Hunter Zoro, he is the first member recruited to join Luffy's crew, the Combatant. Luffy first met Zoro in Shells Town, located in the East Blue. Roronoa Zoro's current age is 21. His dream is to become the greatest swordsman in the world. That title is currently being held by Dracula Hawk-Eye Mihawk, a famous pirate.
Possessing great strength, Zoro wields three swords as his weapons, a style called "Santoryu". He carries two swords with his hands and one with his teeth. Even without using all three swords, he is still exceptionally powerful. Including his incredible swordsmanship, he's able to manifest a spiritual aura of his power and killing intent when attacking.
Nami
Cat Burgler Nami, second member to join and the Navigator of the crew. Nami's current age is 20 years old, she joins Luffy during the Orange Town Arc, a town on the Organ Islands, located in the East Blue. Before joining the Straw Hat Pirates, she was formerly a member of the Arlong Pirates. Her dream is to make a map of the entire world.
Although she isn't as skilled at fighting like some of the other crewmates she's still able to hold off enemies well on her own and has great skill in using a bo-staff. She uses a weapon called the Clima-Tact, her signature weapon created by Usopp. The staff has the ability to manipulate the surrounding climate.
Usopp
Known as God Usopp, he is the third member to join, Sniper of the crew. Usopp, current age 19, was born and raised in Syrup Village on the Gecko Islands, located in the East Blue. He met Luffy and the crew in Syrup Village and joins them. His dream is to be like his father, Yasopp, who Luffy himself is acquainted with, and become a brave warrior of the sea.
Usopp is an exceptionally skilled marksman, following in the footsteps as his father. His weapon is a slingshot and uses very special ammunition to defeat his enemies but he's still able to use other long-range weapons. He's able to calculate and predict trajectory angles to create a lot of damage.
Vinsmoke Sanji
Known as Black Leg Sanji, current age 21, is the fourth member to join and the Cook for the crew. He met Luffy and the crew on the restaurant ship, the Baratie, located in the East Blue. Sanji's dream is to find the All Blue, where all the sea regions meet which is rumored to be a chef's paradise.
Sanji is one of the top best fighters in the Straw Hats crew, along with Zoro. With superhuman physical abilities, he uses a kicked based martial arts called the "Black Leg Style", using his legs as his weapons only. Since his hands are an important part of him as a chef, he doesn't punch his enemies but does incorporate handstands to make use of the power of his legs.
Tony Tony Chopper
Chopper, current age 17, is the Doctor of the crew and the fifth member to join. He's a reindeer and comes from Drum Island which is a Winter Island, where he also meets Luffy. His dream is to become a doctor that's capable of curing all diseases.
After eating the Hito Hito devil fruit, Chopper gained the ability to transform into a human hybrid or a human at will. He's able to transform his body depending on the situation, especially for combat. Chopper has many forms such as Jumping Point, Guard Point, Arm Point, Horn Point, and Monster Point.
Nico Robin
Known as the Devil Child Robin, current age 30, is the Archaeologist of the crew and the sixth member to join. She met Luffy and the crew aboard their ship where she hid to escape the Marines and joins them after the Arabasta Arc. Robin has the ability to read and decipher Poneglyphs, which is considered to be forbidden and dangerous to the World Government. She is the only known person to be able to do so, making her a huge threat. Her dream is to find the Rio Poneglyph which tells the true history of the world.
Robin ate the Hana Hana devil fruit which granted her the ability to reproduce her body parts on any surface at will with full control within a certain range. She's able to sprout duplicates of her body parts on her own body surface or on enemies to defeat them.
Franky
Known as Iron Man Franky, current age 36, is the Shipwright of the crew and the seventh member to join at the end of the Post-Enies Lobby Arc. He was abandoned by his parents but became a member of Tom's members. An incident occurred which resulted in him becoming a cyborg. Franky's dream is to build a ship and travel the seas with it, he built the Thousand Sunny for the Straw Hat Pirates.
As a human with artificial parts, a cyborg, Franky possesses superhuman strength. His body has many weapons equipped which includes rockets and large missiles. To be able to function, he requires cola to fuel both himself and his attacks. He contains the cola in his stomach which has a refrigerator compartment that can hold up to 3 bottles of cola. He has a powerful weapon known as "Franky Radical Beam" which is an explosive laser beam.
BrOOk
Known as Soul King Brook, current age 90 (died at age 38), is the Musician of the crew and the eighth member to join. He met Luffy on his ship that was stuck and floating in the Florian Triangle. Brook's dream is to reunite with Laboon, a whale, who the Straw Hats have met before. Originally, he was part of the Rumbar Pirates before joining Luffy at the end of the Thriller Bark Arc.
Brook ate the Yomi Yomi devil fruit, which allowed him to return back to life after death but his soul took too long to find his body, which is the reason of his skeleton appearance. To make use of his devil fruit powers, he learned how to take control of his own soul and others. As for his weapon, he uses a sword called a "Shikomizue" which is a sword hidden in a cane in a fencing style to defeat his opponents.
