Evergreen Intelligent Solutions, LLC is an authorized distributor of the FREE NSF Check Collection Service offered through the Infinity Business Group/ Federal Automated Recovery Services (IBG/FARS). Any financial institution can offer this service to their clients who take checks in kind for payment and are at risk of returned NSF checks as a value-added service that brings value to the business client—and fee income for the financial institution.
NSF Checks are sent overnight to the company’s state-of-the-art collection center at its expense. ACH and soft collection methods are used to collect the face value of the check and the state-allowed punitive fee.
Typical merchant NSF check collection runs 30-50%--ours approaches 85%. For each collected NSF check for the institution's clients who opt-in to this program, the sponsoring institution is paid 25% of the state-allowed punitive fee. (See spreadsheet)
There is NO minimum check volume and the agreement can be canceled at any time by the institution or the client---there is never any obligation.
IBG/FARS has a limited or no footprint in the West with community institutions--which can clearly differentiate your institution in your market. Incidentally, over 4,000 school districts--primarily in the East and Southeast use this Check collection service--and in North Carolina and Arkansas, the State School Board endorse this product and encourage school districts in those states use the IBG/FARS program.
Candidates for this FREE service include hospitals, schools, colleges, utilities, governmental taxing agencies.... and any business that routinely accepts checks for payment.
IBG is endorsed by a number of local and state Chambers of Commerce across the country. IBG also has several of the largest regional financial institutions to include Colonial BancGroup, Wells Fargo/Wachovia, US Bancorp and now over a 150 Community Banks.
