This is a reimagining of a short story which I had written a few months before starting on this project. Taking a page from H.P. Lovecraft's ineffable ability to describe the indescribable, this project uses Google Maps API v3 to plot markers on a map of New York City and draw polylines between each. Clicking on a marker opens an infowindow relative to that marker, and shows pieces of "evidence" gathered while trying to make sense of the terrible crime that is under investigation.
