I plan to elaborate on the cost of living in Hawaii, for my Capstone project. I moved to Washington from Hawaii almost five years ago and whenever someone finds this out about me, they always ask me how I could move away from such paradise. Many people assume that living in Hawaii is pure “paradise”, but the harsh reality is that housing is much more costly in Hawaii than most places found in the mainland. Not only is the housing expensive, but also every day necessities, such as a gallon of milk. In order to help convey this message, I plan to put together a short video “touring the island” to show the beauty of the island that everyone knows and the reality of living there that not so many people do. In this video I will show something along the lines of some of the most expensive homes on Oahu and the people that live on the beaches. I also plan to include pictures to help further project my message.

I went a different direction but used the sounds captured in the building to make this short clip into a horror-like experience.
