When we were in the early stages of the game I added some moving grass to make it look like the pumpkin was on a field but then I also was the one to suggest having a photo background and made a background image using AI tools instead of the moving grass.

The heart of this power pulses strongest in Portland and Vancouver, cities transformed into the epicenters of an underworld empire, where the night belongs to those who lurk in the shadows. This world is not confined to myths; it stretches across the West Coast, a testament to the monsters’ deep-rooted dominion. Here, monsters rule the night, and humans navigate the perilous balance between servitude and survival. The city is a chessboard, its pieces the notorious clans of the underworld: vampires, werewolves, mummies, and more, each guarding their territories with ferocious loyalty. 

The vampires, led by the enigmatic Dracula, hold court in the lavish, neon-lit ballrooms of the city’s heart, their influence running deep in the veins of Portland’s high society. Dracula’s power is undisputed, his clan a mix of seduction and danger, engaging in politics as smoothly as they do in bloodletting. My inspiration for this visual art series comes from song lyrics from artists I like to listen to. I gathered 4 songs from different artists mostly all being poetic or having poetic language and one just for fun. My process began by searching up the lyrics for the songs I wanted to create images for, and choosing an important section of the lyrics that best represented the whole song. I then inserted that portion into ChatGPT and asked it to create an image based off the lyrics. I had other songs that I wanted to use but ChatGPT would give me a warning about copyright content so I had to go with other options. For some of the songs, I asked it to recreate the photos because it would miss the most important/iconic part of the lyrics and it would then try its hardest to fix it while others came out exactly representing the song. What I discovered during this assignment is that ChatGPT has restricted rules on types of content, however, which types I am not sure. I had questions regarding does it matter what artist it can’t generate for or the site where I got the lyrics from? I also discovered that you need to tell it to not miss a certain part of the lyrics right from the start so it doesn’t forget about it.

To help me with this research, my GPT is tailored to assist me in generating short film ideas emphasizing genres of either dystopian or Latino genres. I asked it to be communicating with me through a casual manner and be providing film terms to increase my knowledge on film terms. My GPT is culturally sensitive, and will be avoiding stereotypes and focusing on diversity. It will help me come up with innovative ideas for narratives, character development, and visual elements for a film, specifically ones that will either be fictional/dystopian or one that uplifts Latino culture. My GPT will also assist in creating vision boards that reflect these themes using DALLE and its web browsing function.
