In this project, I went through a lot of revision and abandonment, the story went through a lot of changes, and finally decided to tell a city and AI rebellion.

As I used runway, the images kept changing. It was difficult to achieve the desired effect, so I reduced the motion range of some videos.

I generated a lot of scenes in GPT, but I never got what I wanted, and eventually dropped some videos as the story changed.

I used suno ai to generate a pure music tune. This is difficult because suno ai has very few parameters to adjust. But luckily, I finally found the music I was looking for.

AI in Coding (Blog 7)

Thinking back to my early days, learning to type on an Apple II GS, it’s amazing to see how far we’ve come. The chunky keyboard and its 5-inch floppy discs were my gateway into the computer world, sparking a fascination that’s lasted a lifetime. Fast forward, and now we’re discussing AI’s role in coding. A leap I could have never foreseen.

AI being utilized in software/game development, apps, and websites is revolutionary. It’s the next step toward a whole new realm of technological advances. By making these skills more accessible to everyone, we increase accessibility. No more getting lost in complex code – AI can tackle that. We are more effectively and efficiently translating our ideas into digital reality. It’s exciting to think about, opening up all these opportunities for more people to be creative with tech.

But, of course, there’s the other side of this issue. The thought of “programming becoming obsolete” is a bit of a double-edged sword. On one hand, it’s wonderful that AI could handle the grunt work, letting us focus on the big picture. On the other, it’s a possible open door to chaos. What happens to the unique, creative solutions that come from human coders? And then there’s the ethical issues – like, who’s to blame when an AI screws up?

Despite these worries, I’m looking at the bright side. AI could spark a new era of creativity in tech, making it easier for folks from all walks of life to bring their ideas to life. We could end up with a much richer, more diverse digital world, which is something to get excited about.

As for me, thinking about AI’s role in the future makes me want to focus even more on the “why” and “who” behind what we’re creating. It’s a reminder that tech should always be about making things better for people, making sure it’s accessible and enjoyable for everyone. With AI’s help, we can automate the boring stuff and pour our energy into designing digital experiences that really matter.

Looking forward, it’s all about staying curious and open to learning. The way I see it, the rise of AI in coding isn’t just about the end of an era, it’s the start of a new adventure in creativity and innovation.

Crisis on Thera – The Moment I Chose

I will be creating a short video that chronicles the world of Thera, introduces my main protagonist, Dr. Elara Mireille, and tells the story of her discovery on the moon of Elysium of a new element that may further revolutionize advances in environmental AI. Her counterpart is Dr. Navor, a man bent on using AI to dominate rather than cohabitate. His attempts to abscond with the new discovery nearly halt Dr. Mireille’s research.

Lurking deep beneath the idyllic world of Thera lies a faction of anti-AI residents. They feel oppressed and reject the technology as “unnatural.” An uprising may soon be on the horizon.

I will use cinematic action shots, wide sweeping establishing shots, and a consistent tone including AI generated music and vocal narration to bring my creation to life.

Blog Post: AI and Coding

Coding will become easier in the future, lowering the barrier to learning to code. But I don’t think this means that coders will lose their jobs, because some of them will probably become more efficient and proficient in coding structures, focusing on more complex specialized areas of software development. Others may shift their focus to leveraging AI tools to enhance their productivity, rather than dedicating extensive time to mastering complex programming languages. Because AI can make the interface intuitive, their time learning code is diverted from thinking about innovation and solving problems. We humans are now aware of certain drawbacks of AI, such as its impact on human employment and information security. In the future, then, we will certainly monitor the safety and reliability of AI because of these concerns. In addition, workers in all fields, even without a programming background, can use AI to serve them and increase productivity. A few months ago, I followed the biographies of some Japanese cartoonists. It is said that it is common for professional cartoonists to stay up all night to meet deadlines. If cartoonists utilize AI assistance, it could significantly aid them in various aspects, such as developing character backstories and enhancing creativity. Such as assisting in developing detailed character backstories, personalities, and motivations. Humans and AI are likely to have more collaborative interactions in the future, with advantages for both sides. At least now I feel that AI has saved a lot of time for my design work, but I also don’t want to rely on AI and ignore my learning goals and creative passion. So in this process, I hope to know and understand more about what AI can do, and I can learn knowledge through AI. I hope that we humans can make better use of AI, rather than blindly abuse it. In this way, in the future, we will feel at ease and interact with AI, rather than being led by the nose of a more intelligent AI in the future.

The big thing about software, game, app, and web development is how AI will change the way these fields work. AI can now perform basic coding tasks and take advantage of computers to read faster and reduce programming errors. So these capabilities offer significant convenience for coders, saving time and allowing them to concentrate on more intricate tasks. Let developers focus on more complex and challenging code work. Developers can now shift their focus to more visual and complex aspects of coding, rather than investing excessive time in basic coding tasks. In addition, user experience has become a key research direction, that is, paying more attention to the process of human-computer interaction. Communication between software, game, app, and web development has also become smoother, with AI acting as a multi-channel bridge to help developers get familiar with workflows and use skills faster.

Initially, my understanding of AI’s impact on future industries was vague. Through reading relevant information, I gradually deepened my understanding of AI, and I realized that AI will have a great impact on the change of future jobs. For example, roles focused on basic coding may become less prevalent, while demand for advanced coding positions is likely to rise. It seems that the ubiquity of AI in the future will be as realistic as everyone has at least one mobile phone today. We have realized that sensitive issues such as ethics and bias in AI are bound to persist both now and in the future, so some people may find jobs in areas such as improving quality and reliability, reducing bugs, and improving the user experience.

The advocacy for lifelong learning as a means of self-cultivation and continual progress is well recognized. When I understand the multifaceted impact of the development of AI on human progress, I once again realize the necessity of lifelong learning. So my plan for the future is to embrace AI as it comes, learn to understand it, use it, help improve my understanding, and expand my knowledge. I feel that AI will unlock learning opportunities that were previously difficult to access. Its appearance reminds me that we humans are like another chance to see the world on the shoulders of giants. I want to make good use of the learning convenience and opportunities that AI brings us to create new things. Maybe this overview may seem broad, but I really hope that we can all move in a good direction.

AI Animation

For this new project, it had to involve the use of Premiere Pro, Chat GPT, Suno AI and RunwayML. This was clearly an ambitious project. My plan was to create an AI animation in the world of the other project involving the old man and the AI automaton except the main character is one of the robots named Athena. She is the first character we see as well as the last.

when I exported all of my storyboard images from Chat GPT and onto RunwayML, the animation didn’t move how I expected for most of scenes. I didn’t expect the quality to be Sora but I had much difficulty getting the scenes to work even with a prompt and an enabled motion path.

I used Suno AI to create 3 different songs that each had their own way of expressing emotion. One was peace, the other was dread and the last was resolution.

The kick, punch, metal hit and falling SFX are from Pixabay.

Here is the AI Animation:

Blog #7 Ai and Coding

For coding, Ai tools could prove to be a helpful resource. I have heard stories about that horrors and frustrations of coding. I have heard about entire pages of code not working because of a single small detail. I have heard of an entire page of code working without anyone know how. With Ai tools this could alleviate some of the strain placed on coding teams and hopefully speed up production.

In term of software, game, and web development, Ai tools can be used to make everyone be able to code. This could mean a large amount of new projects being developed because previously they were blocked behind peoples inability to code. I also see projects moving along more quickly, if companies can use AI tools to reduce errors and quicken computational work this could be products are either released sooner or companies will have more time to really iron out details. I also see that if people are too depended on AI tools it could ruin projects. Ai is not perfect, it can make mistakes, it is inevitable that something goes wrong.

I honestly don’t know how AI technology will effect my future plans. It could change nothing at all or it could make me reconsider my career path. If coding can be done by anyone wouldn’t that mean that there is no demand for the position? I guess we will have to wait and see.

Blog Post – Ai in Coding

The advent of AI in software, game, app, and web development heralds a transformative era, characterized by a dual narrative of unparalleled opportunities and significant challenges. On one hand, AI’s capability to automate mundane tasks promises to elevate productivity and foster a more inclusive environment where developers, regardless of expertise, can contribute meaningfully. Tools like GitHub Copilot exemplify this shift, offering code suggestions that not only expedite development processes but also lower the entry barrier for novices. This democratization could lead to a surge in innovation, as a diverse array of creators brings fresh perspectives to the table. Moreover, AI’s potential to enhance creativity by generating novel ideas and optimizing existing ones could usher in a new wave of groundbreaking digital products.

However, this optimistic outlook is tempered by concerns over job displacement, the need for skill realignment, and the implications of relying on AI for critical decision-making. As routine coding tasks become automated, there’s apprehension that professionals will need to pivot towards roles that prioritize oversight and creative input, necessitating ongoing education and adaptation. The reliability of AI-generated outputs also raises questions about quality control, especially considering the potential for inherited biases and security vulnerabilities that could propagate through AI systems.

For me, navigating this landscape means embracing a philosophy of lifelong learning and adaptability. Focusing on developing skills that complement AI, such as creative problem-solving and ethical considerations in technology use, will be paramount. As AI reshapes the field, staying abreast of advancements and understanding the nuances of AI integration will be crucial for harnessing its potential responsibly.

In essence, AI’s integration into development disciplines signals a pivotal shift, promising to redefine the creative process while challenging existing paradigms. Balancing the opportunities with the inherent risks will be key to leveraging AI’s capabilities effectively, ensuring that the future of development is both innovative and inclusive.

Story

In the shadowed embrace of the Pacific Northwest, from the fog-laden streets of San Francisco up to the rain-soaked alleys of Seattle, an alternate 1920s era unfolds where monsters rule and humans tread carefully. The heart of this power pulses strongest in Portland and Vancouver, cities transformed into the epicenters of an underworld empire, where the night belongs to those who lurk in the shadows. This world is not confined to myths; it stretches across the West Coast, a testament to the monsters’ deep-rooted dominion. Here, monsters rule the night, and humans navigate the perilous balance between servitude and survival. The city is a chessboard, its pieces the notorious clans of the underworld: vampires, werewolves, mummies, and more, each guarding their territories with ferocious loyalty.

The vampires, led by the enigmatic Dracula, hold court in the lavish, neon-lit ballrooms of the city’s heart, their influence running deep in the veins of Portland’s high society. Dracula’s power is undisputed, his clan a mix of seduction and danger, engaging in politics as smoothly as they do in bloodletting. Yet, their supremacy is constantly challenged by the werewolves, creatures of raw strength and primal rage, led by the fierce Alpha, Lycan. The werewolves control the city’s outskirts, the docks where illicit goods flow as freely as the tensions between them and the vampires.

In the dust-covered corners of Portland’s ancient museum, the mummies, wise and ancient, plot their moves silently, their leader, Anubis, a strategist matching Dracula’s cunning with timeless patience. Meanwhile, the forests and rivers that edge the city whisper the legends of the Missing Link and other creatures of lore from Mexico and South America, guardians of nature and the old ways, their alliances as shifting as the rivers they protect.

Amidst this delicate balance of power, the Invisible Man leads a network of spies and informants, selling secrets to the highest bidder, his loyalty as transparent as his form. The ghouls, scavengers of the night, wait in the shadows, their allegiance given to those who can feed their endless hunger.

Humans, though often seen as mere pawns in this grand game, hold their own power. Some, daring or desperate, make deals with these monstrous rulers, gaining protection, power, or wealth, in exchange for services or sacrifices. But these alliances are tenuous – a human who falls out of favor with a monster clan might find themselves prey, hunted in the streets they once walked freely.

Yet, this balance of power is threatened not by internal strife, but by an external force more daunting than any clan rivalry. The United States government, a stronghold of human authority, has set its sights on reclaiming the night, armed with technology and a resolve to eradicate the monster presence from the Pacific Northwest. This looming threat forces old adversaries to contemplate an uneasy alliance, pitting ancient power against modern warfare in a conflict that could redefine the boundaries of their existence.

As the government’s intentions become clear, the monster clans face a choice: continue their age-old feuds and face annihilation or unite against the common enemy that seeks to destroy them all. The story reaches a crescendo in Portland, the heart of the monster empire, where a clandestine meeting of the clans takes place. Leaders of each clan gather, their figures casting long shadows under the moon’s glow. Here, under the guise of night and the watchful eye of the city that has served as their stronghold, they must decide their fate.

This tale of the Pacific Northwest is a complex tapestry of fear and power, where the night holds more than just shadows, where every alliance is a step towards survival or destruction, and where humans and monsters navigate a fragile coexistence. The approaching threat of the government forces reveals the true nature of survival, challenging the very essence of what it means to rule the night. In this alternate 1920s world, the fight for dominance is not just about territory but about the right to exist in a world that stands on the brink of change.

More Story Context:

In the shadowed tapestry of this alternate 1920s Pacific Northwest, where monsters and mythic beings carve out territories and form uneasy alliances, ghosts, demons, devils, and biblically accurate angels occupy a unique niche, weaving through the narrative of power and survival with their own agendas and roles.

Frankenstein’s Faction: This collective is led by Frankenstein’s monster, often simply called the Creature, who has risen to become a formidable leader among the supernatural beings. Known for their ingenuity and resilience, this faction is composed of reanimated beings and brilliant outcasts, including scientists shunned by the human world. They occupy the murky boundary between life and death, utilizing their knowledge of science and alchemy to strengthen their ranks and defend their territory. The Creature, with his towering presence and surprisingly deep sense of morality, seeks a place for his kind in a world that fears them, advocating for peace and coexistence while preparing for war.

The Invisible Guild: Mastered by the Invisible Man, this guild consists of beings who can bend light or cloak themselves in shadows, rendering them unseen by most. They serve as spies and assassins, their existence almost a myth among both humans and monsters. This guild prizes information and secrecy above all, trading in the currency of secrets and silence. Their leader, once a scientist who sacrificed his physical form for power, uses his invisibility to manipulate events from behind the scenes, ensuring his guild’s survival through intelligence and subterfuge.

The Coven of the Night: The witches and warlocks of the Coven of the Night draw on ancient magics, their powers rooted in the natural and mystical forces of the world. They are healers, seers, and warriors, using their spells and potions to influence the tides of power within the supernatural community. Their leader, a powerful witch known as Morgana, sees the future in the stars and the past in the flames, guiding her coven with wisdom and strength. They are sought after for their abilities and feared for their knowledge, making them key players in the balance of power.

The Headless Legion: Inspired by the legendary Headless Horseman and similar specters, this eerie faction is made up of headless or otherwise disfigured monsters who have banded together under the banner of the Horseman. They patrol the night, bound to no one land but claiming the dark roads and fog-laden paths as their own. These spectral riders are the heralds of doom, feared by all who know the tales. Their leader, the Horseman, is a relentless force, seeking vengeance for a life cut short and commanding his legion with ruthless efficiency.

**Ghosts** haunt the landscape, bound not by territory but by memory and emotion. They drift through the cities and wilderness, witnesses to the unfolding drama between the living and the supernatural. Some seek to redress the wrongs of their past lives, meddling in the affairs of both humans and monsters to sway outcomes according to their inscrutable wills. Others serve as messengers and spies for the various factions, their intangible nature allowing them to gather secrets like whispers on the wind.

**Demons**, unaligned with the monster clans and operating under their own complex hierarchies, engage in the darker trades of the supernatural world. They broker deals with humans and monsters alike, offering power, knowledge, or the fulfillment of desires in exchange for souls or other valuable commodities in the spiritual economy. Their presence adds a layer of danger to the already perilous streets, for a demon’s bargain is always a double-edged sword.

**Devils**, with their easy access to Hell, serve as the gatekeepers between the worlds, their influence extending into the deepest shadows of the underworld. Their clubs and speakeasies become neutral grounds where all can gather—humans seeking forbidden knowledge, monsters seeking alliances, and angels seeking to understand the mortal realm. These establishments, hidden in plain sight, throb with the pulse of jazz, the air thick with smoke and secrets. Here, the devils play host to the night’s children, their motives as enigmatic as their origins.

**Biblically Accurate Angels**, striking beings of awe and terror with their many eyes and wings, descend to Earth with missions inscrutable to mortal and monster minds. They observe, intervene, and guide according to divine directives unknown to the inhabitants of the Pacific Northwest. At times, their paths cross with those of monsters and humans, their interactions ranging from violent confrontations over sacred sites to whispered alliances against common threats. Their presence is a wild card, capable of tipping the balance in unforeseen ways.

The Infernal Syndicate: At the helm of the night’s most exclusive speakeasies and underground clubs stand the devils, orchestrating the flow of both pleasure and power within the city’s supernatural and human elite. Their establishments serve as neutral ground, where all manner of beings can mingle under the guise of entertainment and indulgence. The leader of this infernal assembly, known simply as Mephistopheles, is a devil of charm and wit, with a penchant for making deals that are impossible to refuse. His influence extends deep into both the mortal and immortal realms, making him a pivotal figure in the precarious balance that defines the city’s hidden world.

In this world, where the veil between the natural and supernatural is thin, these beings without gangs or territories play pivotal roles. They influence the course of events from the shadows, their actions rippling through the lives of all who inhabit this alternate reality. The ghosts, demons, devils, and angels add layers of complexity to the already intricate dance of power, their agendas weaving through the narrative like threads of silver and shadow, enriching the story of this haunted 1920s Pacific Northwest.
