Story Prompt Response: In the heart of a dense forest, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, stood a solitary cabin. It belonged to a man named Owen, a solitary figure who found solace among the trees and the songs of the birds. But what made Owen’s life unique was not just his love for nature, but his peculiar profession – he was a caretaker of computers.
Owen’s cabin was not just a shelter from the elements; it was a sanctuary for machines. Rows of computers lined the walls, their soft hum filling the air like a soothing melody. Some were old and weathered, while others gleamed with the latest technology. Owen had a special bond with each one of them, tending to their needs with meticulous care.
Every morning, Owen would rise with the sun and set about his tasks. He would dust off the keyboards, run diagnostics on the hard drives, and ensure that each computer was running smoothly. He had a knack for troubleshooting.

As the seasons changed and the years passed by, Owen remained steadfast in his dedication to his craft. His reputation as a computer whisperer spread far and wide, attracting clients from all walks of life. But no matter how busy he became, Owen always made time for his first love – the quiet sanctuary of his cabin, where he could commune with nature and tend to his beloved machines.
Style:
I chose that I would use AI more for the establishing shots, for me to be able to hybridize between AI and real footage. I have inspiration from how day-to-day life is covered or stylized by Studio Ghibli but also by John Carpenter with how he can portray isolation or tight environments.
Camera: I will be using a High definition camera so I am also having the AI replicate more of a cinematic camera. I might also attempt to see what it would look like in a more animated style to see if I like it but I will start with realism.
Costuming: I want to depict a distant future but also have elements that are seen in the modern day, maybe hinting at something that has happened to halt humanity culturally to mirror something more of the current day.
Lighting: When shooting the exterior shots outside the cabin I want to start with nature being warmer and the interior of the cabin being colder. throughout the story, I want to potentially swap these to show that the ideals of Owen have changed.
