I believe that one of the biggest threats to our world today is the extreme amounts of CO2 we put out into the atmosphere every day. We put out an incredibly dangerous amount of greenhouse gasses, so much so that we have multiplied our carbon output by over 400% in just the last 50 years.
The effects of this can be seen all over the world and we will continue to see them for the rest of our life. Due to the amount of carbon dioxide we exude, the air alone has polluted the water and we are beginning to cause the carbon levels in the water to increase by dangerous amounts.
"The pace of global warming is accelerating and the scale of the impact is devastating. The time for action is limited - we are approaching a tipping point beyond which the opportunity to reverse the damage of CO2 emissions will disappear.
