Welcome to DTC 338: Engines and Platforms

This course focuses on the development of games and the systems on which they function in order to learn intuitive tools and rapid workflows for creating interactive 3D and 2D content, multi-platform publishing environments, and managing assets for producing games for various platforms. In addition, we’ll also explore some critical aspects of game development through theoretical frameworks that will encourage students to consider the rhetorical significance of the choices they make in the design of their game.
