Ronald P. Hoss

A native of Chicago, but raised in the Northwest, Ron was always sure to note that he graduated from “WSC” not WSU since he was one of the last graduates before the university shifted from a state college to a university.  He proudly wore his Golden Grad cap.

Ron enjoyed a  varied career in advertising and public relations; professional acting and modeling; radio and television newspaper and magazine writing.  He also actively and positively contributed to the communities in which he lived.

Ron’s true loves were his family and friends.  Married to his wife, Colleen, for 46 years and the proud father of Duncan, Ron also cherished the vitality and love his daughter-in-law, Kellie, brought to the family.  But, the brightest light of his life for more than four years was his granddaughter, Brooklynn.

Upon hearing of Ron’s death, comments from friends and family included:

  • “How lucky we were to have Ron in our lives”
  •  “A remarkable man and such a nice guy”
  • “I’ll always think of Ron with a smile on his face”
  • “Such a good man and a good friend”
  • “A good man in every way”
  • “He will be greatly missed by us all”
