Pembroke Case

Lord PembrokeReginal Pembroke is the first born son to the late Lord Lambert Pembroke. His father created a small empire within the town of Ravensbrook that Reginald took over with plans to expand. It seems he had a reputation for being a stern, traditionalist nobleman who valued social standing above all else. Over the years, his business dealings and political maneuvering has created both allies and enemies.

Lady Anne PembrokeLady Anne, born Anne Worthington, was entered into an arranged marriage with Lord Pembroke to help solidify both of their families' political standings. She is a striking young woman, significantly younger than Lord Pembroke. Despite her youth, she has an air of mystery about her. She is well known around the town, with both admirers and cynics. She is often seen in elegant dresses, adorned with intricate jewelry that she inherited from her late husband. She seems to be quite the romantic, but it is hard to decipher if she shared those feelings with the victim.

Edward FitzroyEdward is a charismatic and flamboyant actor. He has a quick wit and charisma that captures the entire room. Edward's wardrobe is filled with rich, vibrant colors, reflecting his theatrical persona. Edward is an accomplished actor from a family of performers who traveled the country with a renowned theater troupe. After staying in Ravensbrook, he met the Lady Anne, who inspired him to stay and start his own theater in town. He seems to be well liked throughout the town but there has been rumours that he and Lord Pembroke did not fair well.

Abigail TurnerAbigail is a young, petite woman with chestnut hair that she keeps tied in a bun. She wears a modest servant's attire with an apron while working in Lady Anne's household. Abigail was orphaned at a young age and found herself in service to Lady Anne. It seems she has developed a close bond with her mistress, viewing Lady Anne as a surrogate mother figure. However, the strict hierarchy of the household seems to keep her closed off to others.

Detective Samuel BlackthornSamuel has worked for the Riverside Police Department for the past ten years, with a strong track record of solving homicides. This will be his first investigation within Ravensbrook, as the majority of his work resides in larger towns. Samuel comes from a smaller town within the country, which he now frequents regularly to help out his mother and his younger siblings.

Constable Matthew FinchMatthew is Samuel's loyal partner, a bit older and with a sturdy build from previously working on his family's farm. His venture into detective work was not well recieved by the members of his family, but his strong will to bring justice has prevailed.
