Fulla Tribe

The Fulla Tribe are from Guinea and they will use many instruments in ceremonies like the Reetu, Wooden Flute, and they have a drum call (Fulla djembe). This drum is very special, one reason for this is the skin they use for the drum head is antelope skin. All the drums from other tribes are either cow or goatskin. The way the drum head is tune is with water which is unusual.

The Reetu is an instrument that is made of calabash fruit that is covered with skin and hare from a horsetail. It sounds like a violin instrument and they have the same way of playing it.

The Wooden Flute is simply made out of wood with holes carved in it for pitch. The tribe love to use their instruments when they perform their acrobatic dancing.
